Don't want your kid to be called metal mouth?
Metal mouth! Brace face! Railroad Tracks! Even though dental braces have become very common over the last couple decades, both kids and adults sometimes suffer verbal abuse from peers because of their treatment.
Clear braces, though more expensive than the standard metal ones, are one popular way to make braces less obvious. Another recent treatment that has become popular is Invisalign, which is even less obvious and reputedly works faster than traditional braces.
Invisalign cannot correct all the problems orthodontists correct using braces, so you need to consult your dentist or orthodontist to see if your teeth qualify.
